Youth Ministry

A Place for Teens to Grow, Serve, and Belong
Building Faith, Friendship, and Purpose
At FUMC Valley Center, our Youth Ministry is a vibrant, welcoming community where middle and high school students can explore their faith, build lasting friendships, and discover their purpose in Christ. Through Bible-based teaching, worship, games, service projects, and small group discussion, students are equipped to live out their faith in real and relevant ways.
United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF)
Faith + Fun Every Week
Youth in 6th–12th grades are invited to join us for UMYF every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Each evening includes:
- Games and social time
- A relevant, Bible-based lesson
- Group discussion
- Worship and prayer
- Snacks and fellowship
All are welcome—whether you’ve grown up in church or are just starting your faith journey.

- Camp Horizon (overnight/weeklong camps)
- Winter and Summer Retreats
- Mission Projects (local and regional)
- Holiday Events & Game Nights
- Youth-Led Worship Sundays
These experiences are where friendships deepen, leaders emerge, and lives are changed.
