We all love stories. Little children love stories, and whether we're young or old, we enjoy hearing them. Sometimes, we even love to hear the same stories over and over because they are so good. In the month of July and August, we’re going to hear the stories of Jesus. We call these stories "parables." Jesus said, “I speak to them in parables” (Matt. 13:13). During His public ministry, one of the primary ways Jesus taught His disciples was through parables. Though they may seem like simple stories, often filled with imagery, they carry profound messages. The teachings in these parables are central to the message of Jesus and are deeper than they first appear. Our sermon series will begin on Sunday, July 27.
